I get this error when i try to connect to the db during setup.

  1. I have removed and reinstalled the latest c++ Redist
  2. I have pasted the code in the infor button to a cmd proimt and it says the file api-ms-win-crtl…dll is missing from sysWOW folder in windows.
  3. i copied this file from another coputer to the folde
  4. stil have same issue

I managed to solve this by removing the api-ms-win dll files from sysWOW64 folder and reapairing c++ redist.

seem like repairing does not overwrite any files already in the folder that might be not functioning
