Virus scanners giving false positives

Virustotal is currently showing false positives:

  • List item VBA32 - CIL.StupidCryptor.Heur
    Hybrid-Analysis lists it as the same threat [CIL.StupidCryptor] with 100% certainty of threat

Would it be possible to contact the company owning VBA32 to have your product whitelisted?

Hi Rob_M,

Yes, it is a false positive detection. We check all our software via Comodo antivirus. Also, we use encryption during saving users’ passwords, as well as for licensing the application.
