VIEW SERVER SECURITY STATE permission was denied

Hi,

My shared hosting provider made a permission change recently which is now causing this error:

Failed to backup “” database with “Full” backup type: Enum objects failed for Database ‘’. > Execute with results failed for Database ‘’. > An exception occurred while executing a Transact-SQL statement or batch. > VIEW SERVER SECURITY STATE permission was denied on object ‘server’, database ‘master’.
The user does not have permission to perform this action

I’ve tried deselecting almost everything in the “More Settings” on the backup job, and using Reset to defaults, creating a snapshot beforehand (using the "Create database snapshot for backup) - nothing seems to work. Any thoughts?

Thanks!

Chad

I’m experiencing the same issue; deselecting all aside from Data on the More Settings also fails. Any advice would be gladly received.
