Test email is successful, job completion email fails

We are not receiving job completion emails, however when I test the email function the test email is delivered without fault. Error message we are receiving on the backup jobs is
“22/03/2023 9:35:08 PM [Error] Can’t send email to backups@*.com: Access is denied. (Exception from HRESULT: 0x80070005 (E_ACCESSDENIED))”

Has anyone experienced this before or know the cause?

Managed to resolve this with a reinstall. After reinstall job completion emails started working. (all previous emails that failed to send also came flowing through… weird by glad fixed.)

Unfortunately this issue continues to reoccur with the same error, reinstalling seems to fix for a week or two, then the issue returns. Any advise?
