SQLBackupAnd FTP Does not start - at all

This program does not open at all, other than I get a bar at the bottom of my screen that shows it is open. When I click on that bar, nothing happens.

I have fully uninstalled, then reinstalled and still get this issue. I am using Windows 10 on a Microsoft Surface Pro 2.

Could you please try to do the following:

  1. Please make sure .NET Framework version 4.6.0 or above is installed on your server
  2. Please try to use Microsoft .NET Framework Repair Tool
  3. Please add SQLBackupAndFTP to your antivirus exception list
  4. Please check your Windows Event Log if there are any error messages related to SQLBackupAndFTP?
