Restore Error Message

We do a full backup every 24 hours, a differential every 6 and a trans every hour. Today we needed to do a restore for the first time ever. We’ve tested them when we first started the app and everything went well. Today I get this error message:

“no files are ready to roll forward.”

I could only restore the full and none of the diff or trans ones. Is this a DB setting issue?
