OneDrive For Business Timeout errors


Our backup has been extremely slow lately, since end of April looking at the logs.

Previously, the 5GB backup would take about 1 hour at 1.4MB/s, but now, the ones that actually succeed take over 40 hours at 70KB/s.

The ones that fail all have the same error - request timed out.

I have another backup service that backs up our OD4B, and it is working fine, so I don’t think it’s a OD4B issue.

I also got this error today while redoing the authentication - see attachment. More timeout errors.


Could you please try to download and install the Alpha version and check if the issue is resolved.

Also, we recommend you to enable the advanced log and if the issues happen again please send us the advanced log. Please let us know if the log will be sent also please provide us with your Application ID (“Help” > “About”).
