Normal Compression on a Database with Page Compression runs forever

I’m a first time user of this tool. I was wondering is this normal behavior of this tool when we use compression level Normal for a database that has partitions with page compression. Backup is complete within expected time but runs longer while"compressing…" !
Am I missing anything or that’s normal?

Yes, everything works properly. Also, you can use 7zip compression with an additional 7zip parameters which can be specified at the “Compression Settings” window.
