Dropbox support does not work

trying out your product and pointed “store backups in destinations” to a folder in Dropbox as we need backup offsite. however hit the run now button and app insists on trying to backup to a local file

I tested the links to Dropbox from your product and returned successful. Why is trying local operation

Hi John,

It seems you have selected “Remote SQL Server” as a server type at the “Connect to Server” window and tried to connect to your local server. Please choose the correct server type and try again.

no my backup server type is local sql server and as the log says the backup seems to run as one sees these entrys in log:

8/24/2018 2:16 PM “BCS” database backup successfully completed. Backup type: “Full”
8/24/2018 2:16 PM Database “BCS” successfully backed up to “C:\Program Files (x86)\Microsoft SQL Server\MSSQL11.ONTHESPOT\MSSQL\Backup : unknow”

then we see
8/24/2018 2:16 PM Failed to backup “BCS” database with “Full” backup type: Could not find file ‘C:\Program Files (x86)\Microsoft SQL Server\MSSQL11.ONTHESPOT\MSSQL\Backup\BCS201808241416.bak’.
