Use Azure authentication to connect to Azure SQL servers

Hello.

I can connect to Azure SQL using the Server admin login set up in Azure.
But are we able to Authenticate using Azure Entra ?

As a follow up to this.
im aware that we have to use the Server admin login within the Azure SQL to create backups.

What are the minimal permissions required in Azure SQL for the backup to operate ?

On Azure SQL Database, you need to grant VIEW DEFINITION and SELECT permissions for each database, either on all tables or specific tables.
