Temp >> There is not enough space on the disk

I have an error There is not enough space on the disk for temp, but i have lot of free space.

2023-04-29 14:21:15 [Error] Destination error: Failed to upload “D:\temp\Pranas.NET\SBF\1653bf4e-fc34-44fc-97c8-95c0fedc4c59\backup\CDN_KNF_Konfiguracja202304291417.zip” file to “OPTIMA” folder. > There is not enough space on the disk.

You get the following error message:

There is not enough space on the disk.

The issue happens because you don’t have enough disk space on your temporary folder.

SQLBackupAndFTP works in the following way:

  1. Creates a backup file into a temporary folder

  2. Compresses the backup file into the temporary folder

  3. Removes the backup file after the compression

  4. Sends the compressed backup file to the selected destination places

  5. Removes the compressed backup file from the temporary folder

It means that you have to have enough free space to store the backup files and compressed backup files at the same time.
