Temp folder files fill up the drive

C:\Windows\Temp\SYSTEM\Pranas.NET\SBF keeps getting filled up with bacpac files, how do we get the purged? The actual backups are stored on another drive with retention policy on.

we are on latest version 12.7.14

Hello Peter,

To set a Temporary folder for the backups in SQLBackupAndFTP, please refer to the “Temporary folder” section.

Here’s how SQLBackupAndFTP works:

  1. It creates a backup file and saves it in the designated temporary folder.
  2. The backup file is then compressed within the temporary folder.
  3. After compression, the original backup file is removed.
  4. The compressed backup file is sent to the selected destination locations.
  5. Finally, the compressed backup file is removed from the temporary folder.
