As I have long felt this is among the better tools for DB backup, I am looking at suggesting it for use in 2 cases. The first case is using Ubuntu 20.04 LTS, so I would like to locate the how to install it information. The second case is a Pervasive DB on Windows, which I am hoping to also find the how to install information for that.

Sorry, but SQLBackupAndFTP can be installed only on Windows, there is no Linux version. But you can take a look at our other backup tool - SqlBak https://sqlbak.com/ it has both Windows and Linux versions.
