Slow Upload Speed to One Drive Business

Hi,

may be you could help me. I tried to implement one drive business at backup destination. Authorization was successfull but the upload speed wont excedd 200kb/s. We’ve a 100Mbit/100Mbit Internet Connection.

We use the latest version of SQLBackupAndFTP

Any Ideas ?

Hi Jens,

SQLBackupAndFTP uses official libraries from Microsoft for the correct work with OneDrive for Business. We have checked this issue, sorry but the speed is reduced on OneDrive for Business side and we can not do anything.

Hi, my tests from yesterday (same server and internet connection):

  1. catalog synchro using the OneDrive App 3.5 MB / s
  2. upload directory to GoogleDrive with SQL BackupAndFTP App 2.5MB / s
  3. upload directory to OneDrive with SQL BackupAndFTP App max. 400KB / s

Something is clearly not right.

Hi Pawel_Zegar,

Yes, we also have noticed that there are different upload speeds when uploading via OneDrive application and via API. Sorry, but the speed is limited on the OneDrive for Business side, and we can do nothing.

Also, we can confirm, that this issue happens only with OneDrive for Business, regular OneDrive works without any issues.
