I have set up a backup job which worked fine for thirty days, but since then it does not send a confirmation email. The version has fallen back to the free version.
I get an error message saying Automatic email confirmation not available in free version, upgrade.
When i look at your website “Send email confirmation on job success or failure” is ticked for free version.
I dont understand. All versions appear to have this facility ticked. Is this an error or am i doing something wrong.
If not which version do i need to buy to get this option.

All editions of SQLBackupAndFTP allows you to send email notifications.
To send email notification in automatic mode you have to have an active Full-Service subscription. If the subscription is expired you can set your own SMTP Server settings. It is absolutely misleading and not true, when the attached matrix describes, that email confirmation works within the free version. See attachements.
