Hi there, i love the free version of SQLBackupandFTP. Very generous of you guys to make it availlable for “small people”. I do backup ONE Database. When i start the backup manually it still works fine, also the scheduled backups for a few months. Without any updates, now scheduled backups do not work anymore. When i check the log it says:

During this period, the number of database backups will be reset. Please wait for this period to complete and then verify if the process is running smoothly.

Hi Alexander, since manual backups do work, you are saying i should deactivate the 2-hour-scheduled backup for at least 24 hours and reactivate after? I haven´t changed anything in SQLbackupandFTP and it was working for a few months …

Hi there, stupid me just realized that we actually do backup 4 Databases it seems. I thought it was one. That explains why a manual backup worked, a scheduled one not. What still wonders me is, why scheduled backups worked for over a month. We bought a lite license now. Let´s see if the next scheduled backup will go through…
It seems you try to backup your remote SQL Server using the local SQL Server connection. To resolve the issue, please try to install SQLBackupAndFTP on the same server where SQL Server is installed or use the remote connection. Please find more details about the remote backups at:
