We backup multiple databases and have the “Place the backups for each database into its own subfolder” option selected.
When we point a restore job to the root folder of the backup job, it can’t detect the subfolders for each database backup. The only way to get the restore job to detect the appropriate files is to create a separate restore job for every single database folder.
We’ve tested this with both an FTP location and also Azure file storage and the result is the same.
Any advice on how to get this to work with a single restore job that can restore all the database from the subfolders?
