Resend failed transaction log backups

I’ve been using your service for over a decade and one thing thats been a problem is that backups are not always there when we need them the most. During a datacenter outage.

Quite often before a full outage there are intermittent network problems, this can cause the transaction log uploads to fail breaking the restore chain just when we need it the most. I realise there are options to add emergency destinations but that doesn’t usually help.

If an upload fails it should retry the upload to s3 or wherever every minute (or configurable amount) until it’s successful.

Currently, the application retries uploads up to 3 times, but we recognize that this might not be sufficient in cases of extended network issues.

We appreciate your suggestion for implementing a configurable interval or amount of attempts. We will definitely consider this feature for future updates.
