I bought the Professional version v.12.7.12 a few years ago… I can download that version from my account and even activate it, it says that I can use it forever… but having bought it is no longer useful to me because I can’t do my backups to my Gmail account.
Hello Carlos_Diaz,
Thank you for your message.
SQLBackupAndFTP does support sending backups to Google Drive. However, due to recent restrictions by Google, only newer versions of SQLBackupAndFTP support this integration.
The SQLBackupAndFTP Professional edition you purchased does not expire, so you can continue to use the software indefinitely. However, to receive the latest updates, an active Full-Service subscription is required. This subscription is designed to address issues like the one with Google Drive. When Google rolled out updates, we incorporated these changes into the new version. Users with a subscription receive these updates automatically. You can find more details about the Full-Service subscription here.
If you purchase a one-year Full-Service subscription, you will be able to update your edition to the latest release of SQLBackupAndFTP - version 12.7.24.
Thank you, and apologies for the inconvenience.
Best regards,
Oleg
