Offsite backup has failed, Destination error, The network path was not found

Hello,

All of a sudden I have been getting this error which is causing backup failures. I have been using the same address for my NAS drive, and then it just doesn’t connect anymore. I even test the connection and it always fails.

Any ideas of how to approach this problem first?

Sample Error:
ERROR: Destination error: [DST-1:1003#53] Failed to open “\173.197.xx.xxx\Backups” destination connection. > The network path was not found

Hi Kevin_Gamboa,

It seems this issue related to your user permission settings. Please make sure that the user from behalf whom you connect to your SQL Server has enough permissions to the folder on your NAS drive.
