Mysql Backup fails

I’m getting the following error
28/11/2020 2:55:56 PM [Error] Failed to backup “eb2” database with “Full” backup type: No process is associated with this object.

I even get this if I successulfy backup database A, restore it to database B, and then try and backup database B

Any help appreciated!

I’m having the same issue with MySQL
“Full” backup type: No process is associated with this object

Ok, in my case was: max_execution_time in my.ini

Hello, I am having the same issue. Where is the .ini file located?

Hi it is generally in the MySQL directory within programdata.
I thought I had fixed this issue, but it came back last night. For me it can’t be the max_execution_time, as it is set to 0, meaning no max time. So something else must be the issue…

Thanks…I figured that was the case. I contacted support and they sent me the link to the new download which fixed the issue.

Thanks for sharing this - hopefully it will fix the issue for me too!

Pleased to say this new release fixed my issue too!

Hello guys,

If you get the following error message:

No process is associated with this object.

Please install the Alpha edition http://sqlbackupandftp.com/download/alpha and check if it works for you?

Also, we recommend you to make sure that the backups can be correctly restored. If you face any issues, please let us know.

Sorry for the inconvenience.

Sad to say the same error has started for me again. It happens after I modify a table or view structure. If I do a backup with another piece of software, and restore from that, then this product works again.

Hi Paul_Turner,

If you have this issue with the Alpha edition we sent, then please send us your Advanced Log. Here are more details on how to do it https://sqlbackupandftp.com/blog/how-to-send-log-to-developers

Please let us know when the log will be sent, also please provide us with your Application ID (“Help” > “About”) to identify your log.

Sorry for the inconvenience.
