Log reports successful upload to OneDrive, but backup file is not there

Hi - I sent this issue as a support request twice over the last several weeks, with no response, and now trying on the forum. I could really use some help.

I have set up a job for a client who needs weekly copies of their database backup from our server.

I ran a test of the job, and the log reports that the backup, compression, and upload were successful, but the file is not there in the client’s OneDrive folder.

The client cannot see it either, but he has confirmed he can see other files I upload to that folder manually, so my account has access and permissions. The test connection from SqlBackupandFTP job gives a “successful connection” message.

I let the job run as scheduled, and it returns a successful job message every week, but as with the manual run, the file was not in the specified OneDrive folder.

We are not sure what else to try. Any suggestions appreciated - thank you.

I just ran it manually again, log below.

Hi Ann,

Thank you for your message and sorry for the delay in getting back to you.

Regarding your note that you have sent this issue as a support request twice over the past several weeks — could you please let us know how exactly you contacted us (e.g., via email, the in-app support form), and from which email address? This will help us check our records and ensure that your messages are not being missed in the future.

As for the current issue — could you please try using the Download button in SQLBackupAndFTP application “History & Restore” section to download the backup from your OneDrive destination?
If the download is successful, it means the file is present somewhere in your OneDrive.
