License validation every 60 days

Hi Support,

If we are only a one time internet access to validate the license for the first time, will the license stop working after 60 days since we will have no more internet connection to the server running SQLBackupAndFTP ?

Please advise.

Hello Christopher,

SQLBackupAndFTP uses an internet connection for license validation. To activate your license, you need to establish an internet connection, and afterward, the connection can be closed. However, it’s important to note that every 60 days, you will need to briefly open the connection to validate the license.
