Backing up GCP Cloud SQL MySql 5.7 instances remotely.

What would be the parameters or configuration in SqlBackupandFtp to end with a gzip file instead of a zip/7zip compressed file ?

Sorry, but there is no way to compress the backups with GZIP format.
