Full backup email notifications not being sent

I’m currently on the trial version but will be downgrading to free once my trial expires. Backups are working great but my email notifications are not.

I have a backup task that is doing a full backup once per day, and then diff backups every 3 hours after it. I have the “Send Confirmation” option enabled with my custom server settings and I receive emails for each diff backup properly (no problem with this). The problem is that the full backup (defined in the same backup task) does not send an email. Looking in the application log, it shows the full backup ran successfully, but the job log makes no mention of trying to send the job log. Whereas the last entry on the diff job log is “Sending job log to *****”. This is not seen in the job log for the full backup.

Am I missing something here or is this a bug?
