Failed warning "Failed to backup “XYZ” database with “Full” backup type: The zip end header signature could not be found in the zip file.

No idea how to fix this, kindly advise anyone?

Hi Fabrizio_Tumolo,

Could you please try to use 7zip compression and check if it resolves the issue.

SQLBackupAndFTP

Sorry for the inconvenience.

Hi Alexander, unfortunately I get the same error…

Thanks for the details.

We have added some changes to SQLBackupAndFTP that should resolve the issue. Could you please download and install the following alpha version https://sqlbackupandftp.com/download/alpha and check if it works.

If it doesn’t resolve the issue, please enable the advanced log with “Trace” option, reproduce the issue and send logs to our dev team. Here are more details on how to do it How to send Log to developers | SQLBackupAndFTP's blog

Note! With the “Trace” level, a log can contain your passwords. Before sending a log to dev team please open it using any text editor and remove the information you prefer to keep in secret. You can find them by clicking the “Open folder” link at the “Advanced Log” window (“Tools” > “Advanced Log…”).

Please let us know if the logs will be sent, also please provide us with your application id (“Help” > “About”).

If it is possible, could you please provide us test access to your phpMyAdmin to check the issue. To make it private please send to support@sqlbackupandftp.com
