On several installations of SQLBackupAndFTP (11.7.3) all 25 hours we got the following entry in the Windows Application Event Log:

What does this mean? What is “manually updated”?

Thanks for the issue reporting.

Could you please check your Windows Event Logs (Application and System) are there any error messages related to SQLBackupAndFTP Client Service or SQLBackupAndFTP Client Service (Watchdog)? If there are any error messages, please export and send them to our dev team to check the issue support@sqlbackupandftp.com

Hi Alexander

I’ve not found any other errors or warnings in the Windows Event Logs. Just the warning message I wrote already appears every 25h and I don’t understand what it means “Started manually update…”.

Have you any information what the program has done at this point?

Thanks for the details.

Every 25 hours SQLBackupAndFTP starts the automatic update procedure to check if there is a new version of the application, and if there is - download it. Thanks for the issue reporting, we’ll fix it.
