Hello, I have another application doing SQL backups but want to use SQLBackupAndFTP as an additional backup. Because of this, I would like to create copy only backups. I checked the box that says Copy Only but the job log mentions nothing about the backups being Copy Only. How can I ensure backups are copy only and won’t interfere with the other software backup chain?

Yes, currently, there is no way to check if a backup was made with the COPY_ONLY option or without, but we’ll add a record into a backup log.

Yes, if that option was enabled the backups will be made with COPY_ONLY option.
We have fixed this issue in the Alpha edition https://sqlbackupandftp.com/download/alpha could you please install it and check if it works?
