Cannot do incremental backups

Hi,

I’m trying to do incremental backups for MySQL.
The MySQL server and the server where SqlBackupAndFtp runs are different.

I get this error:

27/7/2022 5:35:50 μμ [Error] Failed to backup “*******-production” database with “Full” backup type: Could not find a part of the path ‘C:\www\server\data\binlog.index’.

I understand that SBF tries to locate the binary log files, locally?

Is there a workaround to this?

Hi Alex,

To resolve the issue, please install SQLBackupAndFTP on the same computer where MySQL Server is installed, otherwise, for a remote connection, only full backups are available.
