We have 2 jobs on a single server. 1 job works as expected, but the other job doesn’t delete old backups.
It gives the error:
"14/01/2022 6:26:31 [Error] Failed to clean up backups of “Adsolut to NAS " job: ${https://sqlbackupandftp.com/kb?id=DST-2%3A1001%231|#[DST-2:1001#1]} Failed to open “ftp://xx.xx.xx.xx” destination connection. > Already connected to the server.”
Both backup jobs use the same ftp user, and don’t run on the same time.
When we login via an ftp client, we can delete files without problems.

There was a database in the backup job that failed to backup properly.
We have excluded it from the backup job, and created a separate job for it.
Now it seems to work correctly.

I have the same issue as Helpdesk_C2Y.
All my databases are backup properly but I got the same error.
My FTP server is running normally. User used for ftp access has every permission, I can delete o create any file in that FTP location, on that FTP server.
I am using QNAP NAS as FTP server. Never had any issues. Until now.

I have tried with Keep Alive option, but it doesn’t help.

To resolve the issue please go to the advanced FTP destination settings and enable the “Pause Before Upload Close” option.
Also, we recommend checking the other settings, perhaps some of them should be disabled/enabled.
