Backup Azure SQLDatabase: Signature application is not valid

During backup of 3 azure sqldatabases in one (1) backup job, the second backup fails with the error “Signature application is not valid”.

The application version is 12.0.4.
The 3 databases are almost identical and has the same size.

I have tried to include only one database in the backup job: Some times it succeeds, and some time it fails with the same error.

This really is strange. After almost an hour everything seems to be ok - and yet it fails with this weird message.

I have downloaded the latest version and tried a number of backups from Azure -> Local. I can confirm this problem seems to be solved.
