Assistance Required for New SQL Instance and SQLBackupAndFTP Timeout Issue

Good afternoon,

I am having a problem with a new SQL instance and being able to load the databases in SQLBackupAndFTP. After 3 minutes, it will time out. The old instance worked just fine before we decommissioned it. The only reason we did this was because it was on the OS drive, and we moved it to the Data drive and created a named instance instead of a default one as it was before.

I did find a timeout .xml on the forums, but it was for an older version of the software and did not work. To give a bit of background, there are 4,391 databases and about 297GB of data, so I suspect that the database list is cached because we could pull it up on the old instance with the same databases.

Can someone please help?

On a side note, we also use SQLBak, and it took over an hour to populate the databases.

Thank you for your assistance.

Best regards,

Will
