Unable to start the service

I’ve installed on a new machine and cannot start the service.

It says: Error 1053: The service did not respond to the start or control request in a timely fashion.

In Event Log there are two errors

Also, if you use SQLBackupAndFTP version 11 Beta, “Check for update” option temporary doesn’t work.

Same issue on one of our servers. The SQLBackupAndFTP service did not restart after a server reboot. Never had this problem prior to 11.x

Hello,

Please find SQLBackupAndFTP (SQL Server backup) Service then right-click “Properties” and set Automatic (Delayed Start).
