Stopping Stuck Job

A backup Job is stuck since morning, Uploading to external ftp.

How do I stop this job. I have tried restarting SqlBak.service.

Cancel in job log windows has no effect.

Restarting the service stops the backup job.

Thank you for the issue reporting we’ll check and fix this issue as soon as possible.

Also, could you please tell us how often does your backup job hang up?

This is the first time , I recently updated to the ‘New look’ version.

It is stuck at ( 1:07:40p Uploaded 35:01 % (average speed = 75.9 KB/s) ) for 8 hours now.

The Backup destination tested with filezilla is working fine.

Thank you for the details.

To investigate this case we need more information. Could you please save the NLog.config file into the application folder C:\Program Files (x86)\SQLBackupAndFTP, restart “SQLBackupAndFTP (SQL Server backup)” Windows service, run the backup job and send us all log files from C:\Log\SBF folder after this issue happens again.

To download Nlog.config file please follow this link https://www.dropbox.com/s/xw380o7t973j5yc/NLog.config?dl=0

To make it private please send to support@sqlbackupandftp.com

I end up deleting and recreating job, I will share the log file if the issue resurface.

Sure. Thanks for the feedback.
