SQL Server stops responding when uploading backup

We use Wasabi for our cloud back up solution. Once the SQL Server backups and compresses, once it starts the upload the connection to our SQL server practically stops responding, is there anyway for it not to use all the servers network resources when uploading?

If you use Wasabi as your destination place you can try to reduce the multiply parallel threads at the “Advanced Wasabi settings” section. Will it work for you?
