Sql Backup and FTP Crashes After Upgrade to New Version

We have used MySQL Backup and FTP (v4.3) for years on Windows Server 2008 and have just tried upgrading to v12.0.4 (following your recent email). The install appeared to have successfully worked including the installation of .Net 4.6.0.

However, when the application user interface is launched, it immediately crashes and the Microsoft Windows error dialog pops-up with the following details:

SQLBackupAndFTP has stopped working

Description:
Stopped working

Interestingly, the two SQL Backup and FTP services.

I have tried using the .Net Repair tool and installing the older version v11.3.12 but without success.

Your help would be appreciated.
Perhaps you could make your latest non .Net version available for download?

Thanks.

p.s. The Windows Event viewer contains the following .NET Runtime Error Event ID 1026 detail:

Hi Alexander
I managed to resolve the problem following a suggestion from Johannes_Nortje to download and install the latest (Visual Studio 2017) C++ Redist from:

vc_redist.x86.exe
