OneDrive Authorization failing

Hello,

Came back from weekend and found that the backups over the past 3 days failed due to the following error.

ERROR: Destination error: [DST-9:1001#1] Failed to open “Exbon Development Inc.” destination connection. > Unexpected response status code “Completed”. Status description: “Unauthorized”. ErrorMessage: “{“error”:{“code”:“unauthenticated”,“message”:“The caller is not authenticated.”}}”. ErrorException: “”.

Testing connection hangs for a few minutes and displays the same message. Trying to authorize by copy pasting the authorization code again displays the same behavior - hangs for a few minutes and displays the same message. We have not changed admin credentials from our side.

Hi,

We also haven’t added any changes to SQLBackupAndFTP. To investigate this case we need more details. Could you please enable the advanced log, reproduce the issue and send logs to our dev team to check them. Please let us know when the logs will be sent.

Sorry for the inconvenience.

Update: Today’s backup had the same warnings, but backup was successful.

Testing connection works and authorization code as well.

Edit: We posted almost at the same time. I will monitor backups throughout the week and will update if there are any more failures.

Hello,

Sure, please feel free to contact us on any issues or concerns.

Update on this - Backups worked Tuesday Wednesday and Thursday, failed again Friday Saturday Sunday and today.

Today in particular had a different error message - The underlying connection was closed: A connection that was expected to be kept alive was closed by the server. > Unable to read data from the transport connection: An existing connection was forcibly closed by the remote host. > An existing connection was forcibly closed by the remote host

I have sent Advanced log. Seems like someone else is having similar problem recently for OD4B as well Backup to OneDrive for Business Error
