Running a backup of all SQL databases with weekly full backup and daily differential. Is there a way to change the day the full backup is run so that the daily differentials continue. I assume that I can change the backup start date but then I assume that the differentials will not run until that day.

You can change the backup start date at the “Advanced Backup Schedule” windows. After you save all settings your estimated backup plan will be changed too. All differential backups will be performed with the selected interval after the full backup is performed.

You can find it at the “Schedule backups” section, just turn on this option and click on the gear button.
