Incremental restore

Hi there!

I am testing this great app and I would like to know if it is possible to use it to mirror a DB “nearly” real-time? (I am using SQL 2017 Standard)

I mean I have scheduled the backup to “Maniac+” (Full 24H, Transaction 1 minute).
The app uploads the full and transaction logs as expected.

Is it possible to run the restore in every 5 minutes, without restoring the full backup all the time first? So in every 5 minute just applying the changes. Just applying the newly uploaded/downloaded transactional logs?

(If it requires the target DB to be read-only it would not be a problem)

We have just release SQLBackupAndFTP version 12.4.16.8 Alpha with the scheduled restore option (log shipping). Could you please install it http://sqlbackupandftp.com/download/alpha and check if it works for you?

Just set your backup and restore/log shipping jobs.
