I have been using sqlbackupandftp for some time successfully. This error appeared last night.
This happened to me a few months back and i recall changing a setting int he advanced tab but cannot remember what it was. Some text in title has been shortened. full error below:

ERROR: Failed to backup “4wstest” database with “Full” backup type: mysqldump: [Warning] Using a password on the command line interface can be insecure. mysqldump: Can’t create/write to file ‘C:\Windows\TEMP\SYSTEM\Pranas.NET\SBF\backup\4wstest202103180100.sql’ (OS errno 2 - No such file or directory)

All assistance greatly appreciated

We had the same issue with the new update that rolled out.

Go to the main screen and click on advnaced. At the moment the temporary directory will be blank. Choose a temporary directory like Windows/Temp and save

Run the backup again.

We’ve fixed the issue in the SQLBackupAndFTP version 12.5.1. Could you please upgrade the application “Help” > “Check for updates” and check if it works?

Since my subscription expired last week, I can’t update, so I just changed the Temporary folder location and was able to get it working.

I am also getting the following error
