I’ve just moved our SQL over to a new server and have had to reinstall the MySQL Backup software. I’m not able to get it to recognise the server at all. I’ve tried using the actual name (MySQL-Server) as well as the IP address but nothing works. The username and password are correct so I’m wondering if it’s a Port Issue. The Port comes up automatically as 3306 but I’ve read online that the default should be 1433. Could this be the issue do you think and if so how would I go about finding the Port number?
