But mysqldump works fine. MySQL root does not have a password. Is that the problem?

Alpha version error. will not run on my version of windows (2012R2). You should re-release the old version until you get yoru act together. It worked great. I’m sure I am not the only one running out of patience screwing around with this

Sorry, no, I don’t mean to be rude but I don’t have the time to mess around with it and be copying error messages. Uninstalled already. You test it with Windows 2012R2 and MYSQL 8 and you’ll probably hit the same error.
